The three day rule didn’t apply this time…if I had my way, I’d have a house full of visitors for the next two weeks. On Thursday morning we said goodbye to Wiby and Danette and earlier today we bid farewell to my parents and Trent and Lauren. A week of free babysitters and good ole homecooking spoiled me rotten to say the least.
The emptiness in the Harvey house is hard to ignore. Garrett spent much of the day reading a book, MR took three extra long naps, and I spent the afternoon “friendly stalking” every blog I could get my hands on…anything to stay busy. We are extremely anxious for Wednesday’s results and just continue to pray for God’s healing! While the waiting game hasn’t gotten any easier, it was certainly a blessing to be surrounded by our family! Thank you Wiby, Danette, Mom, Dad, Julie and Bill, and Trent and Lauren for helping us through this time of uncertainty. And thank you to each and every one of you for lifting G up in your thoughts and prayers!

I love that top pic! I must be way pregnant to let my child go the playground in her pajamas with her hair sticking straight up in the air!
Our house was mighty quiet today too.
Carly- I will be thinking about you guys this week and waiting to hear GOOD NEWS! Gosh I know it’s hard! Thanks for your sweet post and encouraging words on our blog.
Just think…tomorrow is already Tuesday…so hopefully the time will pass by quickly! We are still praying for G.
Your company sure looked like fun! And Trent and Lauren look like old pro’s holding those babies! I think they need 2 little girls of their own! Although, I still remember Trent with the long hair and scruffy face look from GC&SU. : )
Looks like y’all had a wonderful time this weekend…
I love the pictures. We really enjoyed our visit.
I was absolutely humbled by all the people who came up to me Sunday asking about Garrett and letting me know how each of them were praying for you all. There is a peace knowing God is hearing from so many on your behalf. I have FAITH that God has healed Garrett and the pathology results will confirm just that. God has also answered our prayers by providing an opportunity for Garrett to transfer with GE back to Georgia. We love you and we will continue praying for you and if you need us we will be there.
still awaiting the good news..God is good and he will reveal that once again. Love you both and stay strong…Love in Christ, Kyle
