Thak you Wes and Kate for the beautiful pink smocked dress and hairbow! And for not rubbing in Georgia’s loss to Alabama!

One sweet and tired birthday girl
The dawgs disappointing loss to Bama was quickly overshadowed by a late night phone call from my sister. Hendley’s fever had spiked to 103.8, causing her to go into a febrille seizure. For the next four hours, our family prayed as doctors at UVA administered tests and blood work on my sweet niece. Although we have yet to find the cause of Hendley’s fever, the results ruled out an upper respiratory infection, pneumonia, and meningitis. Please pray that God will continue to put His protective arms around Hendley and Baby Trent. And pray for a speedy recovery for Hendley and all of the Boucek family!
After a very long and sleepless night, we woke up early on Sunday morning to get ready for Mary Reese’s first birthday celebration. Seeing MR surrounded by so many loved ones was a constant reminder of God’s many blessings! I’ve got tons of pics from the big weekend, so stay tuned…
A birthday toaster strudel to start the morning
and a cupcake from Aunt B for lunch!
Saturday was all about Georgia football! Gran C and Big Daddy took on MR while G and I tailgated with the Harvey family.
ESPN’s College Gameday on the UGA campus
On Sunday we celebrated MR’s first birthday party
This sweet little girl brings a smile to my face each and every day. Mary Reese, you are something else. You rarely meet a stranger. You love to give kisses and snuggle with your Pink Poodles. Your favorite toy is Miss Rosy. You squeal with delight when daddy pushes you because he goes much faster than your overly cautious mom.
Mary Reese, we know God has much in store for you in the years to come. We love you very much and are so proud to be your parents. Happy first Birthday sweet girl!
Go-cart racing on Saturday with Garrett’s work and a trip to the ballpark on Sunday kept us busy this weekend. MR is beat. And we are too. But with another Georgia win and a big game ahead of this weekend, we couldn’t be any more excited! Thank God for a precious baby girl, ballpark food, and SEC football! And for naps. Now, that G is back, I’ve taken more than I can count!
Sweet Mary Reese…
Thank you Aunt B for the great tickets and for showing us around the Braves office!
What a game! The Braves rallied for a 7-6 win against the New York Mets in the last home game of the season!
One meltdown,
Two outfit changes,
Three dozen cookies,
and way too many “dadas” to count…
G will be home soon and we cant wait to see him!
A leaky sippy cup nearly brought me to my knees tonight. So much so, that MR and I headed to Walmart right in the middle of rush hour traffic. An hour and a half later, we arrived back at home with 2 new sippy cups, a half gallon of whole milk, and a king size Snicker bar. After devouring a little piece of heaven, we headed out to the trash to celebrate the end to the “bottle era”. Throwing away leaky bottles, formula, and sippies was pure satisfaction!
After a month of waiting, our new couch finally arrived!!!
G’s next assignment: tackle the cords to the left of the tv with cord molding.
Little Miss Spaghetti O’s face got the first stain on the couch less than 30 minutes after it was delivered.
Somebody misses her daddy…These are for you, G. We love you!
A visit with two of our favorite friends, a tailgate with 800 wings, two sweet 11 month olds, and another win for the Georgia Bulldogs capped off the perfect weekend in Columbia, South Carolina! MR and I are holding down the fort this week as G travels to New York on business. With less than 2 weeks til’ the big birthday bash, we’ve got plenty to do to keep busy!
A two hour oatmeal bath was the perfect way to celebrate another win for the Georgia Bulldogs!
Forget the playroom full of toys, these two spent most of their time locking each other in the dog crates.
Saying goodbye to Dada…
