A small purse was all the incentive Mary Reese needed to get on her feet and take her first steps. Without missing a beat, she slung that purse over her shoulder and took three BIG steps! By the time I grabbed my camera, she back to her crab crawling ways. Needless to say, we spent the remainder of the day practicing our new trick and celebrating this much anticipated milestone. Part of the celebration included a trip to the Department of Transportation to trade in our Virginia plates for Georgia ones. Personal pan pizzas and bow making followed. But, the real celebration will begin tomorrow as we head to the coast for a long weekend of family, fun, and lots and lots of bbq!
Because I know my sweet husband has always wanted a personalized tag like this…
The other mom’s were right…I made all of these bows for the price of one. Each bow cost less than a dollar to make!
Carly,
Those bows are so cute! How do you make them? Mary Reese is always dressed to the nines, she definitely has style! Congrats on the first steps!
Um…don’t you think the first thing you should have said on the phone was – “I know how to make bows now.” Please, please, please make some for your niece. They are way cute! You are so talented.
Oh my gosh!!! Get ready girl, sweet MR is ready to run the house:) watch out!
Look at you miss crafty! I can’t believe all of those bows are sooo cute! How do you make them? Is it easy?
Have a wonderful time with your family!! Chris is going up to NOVA for a bachelor party. i will be single mama for the weekend;(
Yeah Mary Reese!!!! You just needed that purse on your shoulder for balance didn’t you. It’s a girl thing. Put some lipgloss and plastic in there and she will be ready to go.
We love you!!! Can’t wait to see you.
Danny
so, when are you starting your bow making business? I’ll be the first to order one…or 20.
How in the world do you make a bow. I really could use them for my daughter, but I am certainly NOT creative and I also have no money to just go buy a bunch…any words of advice or explaination on how to make would be greatly appreciated. You can find my blog at http://www.lovefor9.blogspot.com.
Thanks,
Rachel
