Two new teeth mean that this little girl has been ruling the roost. No naps. Yogurt and Nilla wafers for every meal. Bouts of fussiness. And late night holding sessions with mommy and daddy. Still, she manages to make us smile each and every step of the way. When asked about her two new teeth, she will proudly open her mouth and say “ahhhh”. A firm “no, no, no” with the shake of a finger and a tight closed lip usually follows. She’s not letting anyone, even her beloved Elmo toothbrush, near her new teeth. Yep, she’s the boss and until these babies peep through, she can have all of the yogurt, Nilla wafers, and “magic medicine” she wants.

Sweet Heavens, we’re going through the same thing. I wish I was a sweet as you about it. Instead, I’m like injected with a double dose of PMS hormones and I’m not even PMSing.
Isn’t this the funnest stage so far BUT the most challenging? Sometimes I want to pull my hair out.
Hey! Sorry I haven’t been good with my comments…its been crazy trying to catch up from Christmas and get everything ready before baby gets here.
SO excited MR is walking!
She looks like such a big girl in these pictures.
Good Luck with those teeth…they can be yucky!
I think we were all on a gallon of Baby Tylenol and Motrin through those episodes
She’s so beautiful. I sure wish I could still have Nilla wafers (though I do eat YoBaby yogurt now…and Gerber organic baby oatmeal…) MR and I have so much in common!
I love the toothy smile! Tylenol and Motrin were our friends during that time. Hope you are well–miss you!
Yippy for new teeth! Yippy for magic meds!! And, praise God for yogurt and vanilla wafers!
Let her do what she wants…better than the fussiness!
Those teeth aren’t keeping her from smiling. Bring me that baby. I need some smiling babies up here.
yogurt and nilla wafers are a staple in the peterson household. the nilla wafers are fading here due to the current obsession with yogurt covered raisins…which are quite tasty if I do say so myself. but now, thanks to your post, I am craving some nilla wafers and a tall glass of milk myself : )
MR is just precious!!!
