At 16 months, she knows how to say “please” and “thank you”. She waves to every passerby and never leaves the room without blowing a kiss and saying “bye bye”. Her smile is contagious. And she smiles a lot. She laughs at her own jokes and brushes herself off when she falls. She’s something else.
Like most southern belles,
she likes to keep a clean house.
She says the blessing before every meal and every snack.
She’s a free spirit with an undeniable zest for life.
She knows the importance of accessorizing. Although she doesn’t always love the bow, she respects it. And she asks for it every morning by name. She knows that in the south, bigger is always better.
She thinks her daddy hung the moon.
She’s not scared to make a fashion statement.
And, she’s always ready for an adventure!
Happy 16 months, sweet Mary Reese! You make us smile each and every day and we love you very much!!!
Yikes! If she is 16 months, that means her cousin is 23 months. Seems like just yesterday MR was a baby. That is the only good thing about me not seeing her a lot – in my mind, she is still a baby!
Cute, cute pictures.
This might be my favorite post yet! It makes me excited to see what all Tyler will be doing in the next few months. It’s amazing how much they change…every day is something new!
Ah! That totally made me cry…for a few reasons: I’m jealous MR has waaay more manners than Chuck does, says Grace before a meal (and snacks!), respects the big bow, and says thank you & please. Most of all, it made me cry because we’ll never get these moments back and tehy grow up too fast. That was one incredible sweet post. Who knows, maybe one day she’ll print it up, fold it, and carry it in her bra or wherever. Or not. But we dare to dream, right?
How special! I feel lucky to have added her into our lives !! keep the humor coming
